Our Story
It's the exhaustion of being the only person in the room who knows the whole story. Of sitting in a doctor's office, a classroom, a therapy session, and realizing that everyone there sees a fragment of your child, and you are the only one holding it all together.
I know that exhaustion. I have lived it for years.
When my son was two, doctors handed me a diagnosis. That was it. No direction on where to find help. No map. No support for what came next. So I did what every parent in that room does: I became the coordinator, the advocate, the memory keeper, the connector, and above all, my son's safe space. Across more care providers than I can count, through a fragmented system that was simply not built for us.
The weight of that isn't something you explain to people who haven't lived it. It lives in the 2am notes you write so you don't forget. The appointments you walk into already exhausted, trying to reconstruct months of care in 20 minutes. The feeling that the system was built for someone else's child. The exhaustion that comes from nonstop advocating and trying to hold it all together when you are quietly falling apart, mentally and physically.
My son is older now. The earlier challenges have given way to new ones, as they always do. This doesn't end. It evolves. And caregivers like me wake up every day and do it all over again, because we don't have another choice.
Seva was built because I know what that takes. And because I know how different it might have been if something had been carrying the load with me. Not instead of me. With me.
That's what Seva is. Not a piece of technology. The thing I needed and couldn't find.

Caregiver. Advocate. The reason this exists.
"I became the coordinator, the advocate, the memory keeper, the connector, and above all, my son's safe space."
On what caregiving actually looks like
"The exhaustion lives in the 2am notes you write so you don't forget. The appointments you walk into already empty."
On the weight no intake form captures
"Not instead of me. With me. That's what Seva is."
On why this was built
Why Seva
In Sanskrit, seva means selfless service. It is care given not for recognition or reward, but because someone needs it. It is what caregivers do every single day, quietly, without acknowledgment, without a system built to support them.
We chose this name because it reflects both the families we serve and the spirit we build with. Seva is care made sustainable. Care made possible. Care carried together.
Our Mission
For every neurodivergent family and their care team. We're building toward a future where care coordination is no longer a full-time unpaid job that falls on parents by default. Better days start with better information. That's what Seva is for.
How we're different
Privacy is not a feature. It's a principle.
We deal with the most sensitive data that exists: your child's life. We don't sell it. We don't harvest insights for advertisers. We don't use your family's information to train models for others. Your data serves your family. Full stop.
AI that supports human judgment. Not replaces it.
Seva doesn't diagnose. It doesn't prescribe. It finds the patterns the human brain is too tired to see, and gives families and clinicians the clarity to act on them. The decisions always belong to the people who know the child.
Built for every family. Not just the easy ones.
Neurodivergent care intersects with culture, language, immigration status, income, and lived experience. We designed Seva for families navigating fragmented systems in multiple languages, across multiple countries. No family left behind because of where they're from.
Diversity, equity, and inclusion
The neurodivergent community is not homogeneous. It is as diverse as the world it lives in. And the barriers facing caregivers are not experienced equally. Culture, language, income, immigration status, and geography all shape how hard this already-hard thing is.
Seva was founded by an immigrant woman of color who navigated autism care systems across Bangladesh, Singapore, and Canada. That lived experience is not a background detail. It is the lens through which every decision at Seva is made.
Our commitments
Inclusive design
Built for families navigating care in more than one language, more than one country, more than one system.
Diverse team
We build what we know, and we build it with people who reflect the community we serve.
Equitable access
Care tools shouldn't cost more than care itself. We're committed to pricing that doesn't punish the families who need this most.
Cultural humility
No default, no assumed norm. Seva is designed to work for the family in front of it, not a generic template.
Trust and compliance
Canada
PHIPA and PIPEDA aligned
Strict adherence to provincial health privacy standards and federal data residency requirements. Data stays where it belongs.
United States
HIPAA aligned with full BAA support
Full Business Associate Agreement support for clinics, schools, and organizations working with Seva in the US.
Europe
GDPR compliant
Designed to meet European data protection standards for families and organizations operating internationally.
Architecture
Pseudonymous by design
Seva's data layer uses pseudonymous identifiers, encrypted storage on GCP, and explicit consent gating on every data share. Your data cannot be shared without you choosing to share it.
Seva is a wellness and care coordination tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide clinical diagnoses, treatment recommendations, or replace professional judgment. It is designed to support caregivers and care teams with information, organization, and insight — never to substitute for qualified clinical care.
We are a team of strategists, designers, and innovators passionate about transforming care through innovation
